Support for

Brambl Redirects

With Brambl websites you can add redirects from your main domain to other urls.

This is especially useful when you're moving an old website onto the Brambl platform, as the old website urls can be redirected to more useful pages. Search engines also favour websites that set up redirects from old pages, and can penalise sites that don't set up redirects when an old page is taken offline.

To create a new redirect to your Brambl site, head to Workgroup > Websites > View/Amend > Redirects

Here you'll see a list of all the redirects already set up for your Brambl site.

To add more, press Create Redirect.

The redirect you create must be from a relative link of your main domain. When your main domain is changed, the original redirection source will also change

For example, if you set up a redirection from

http://yoursite.uk.brambl.com/old-url
to
http://www.yoursite.com/new-url

Then when your main domain is changed it will be from

http://www.yoursite.com/old-url
to
http://www.yoursite.com/new-url

We also recommend that you create the redirect location to be a relative domain, but you can enter any url you like.
